Fundraising News

Eastcott and Thameswood Vets in Swindon each entered a crew in the Dragon Boat Race Event organised by the Swindon Phoenix Rotary Club this summer.
Through sponsorship they raised £1,000 for the 4Pups4Joy Appeal. Thank you to the staff of the vets and everyone who sponsored the crews the money has taken our appeal to just under £14,000.
1st Stratton Cubs
Thank you to 1st Stratton Cubs for raising £726 for the 4Pups4Joy Appeal with their help the appeal now stands at £12,000.
They raised the money through doing different sponsored events: runningthefamilyfunrun4Joy, walkingtheRidgeway4Joy, swimming4Joy, kickups4Joy, scootingtoschool4Joy, cycling4Joy just to name a few events.
Most of the cubs had met Joy when we visited them to do a talk about Guide Dogs and we do appreciate all their hard work and determination.
2Pups4Joy
It is with great delight that I can announce that we have reached an important milestone in the 4Pups4Joy Appeal to raise £20,000.
We have reached the half way point in the appeal by raising just over £10,000 and have Named2Pups4Joy.
The first puppy is being named Joy(of course) and the second one Fletcher.
I would like to say a great big thank you who has generously donated to our appeal and without your help and support we would be a long way from our target.
It is amazing that we have raised £10,000 since August of this year which is far better than I imagined.
THANK YOU.
