Charity

CharityMy name is Charity and I am the 5th Guide Dogs Pup4Joy.

I am a Labrador x Golden Retriever and I was born on the 6th May 2014 which, is a year to the day when guide dog Joy was put to sleep and the same day as the appeal raised £30,000 to pay for my first years training as a guide dog puppy which is an amazing coincidence.

My dad’s name is Kessler and my mum’s name is Nola. I am one of a litter of twelve (my mum must have been exhausted after giving birth to all of us), my siblings names are Gordon, Riley, Uffa, Ula, Ulan, Ulric, Umber, Una, Uschie, Usef and Ushka.

I am now with my puppy walker and I am going to do my best to become a fully qualified working guide dog when I grow up.

Wish me luck on my journey to become a partially-sighted persons eyes and help them to get their mobility back which will enable them to live a normal a life as sighted people and emulate the great work that guide dog Joy did and the reason the 4Joy appeal exists.
